Colchester United have made a third signing of the week, with the loan deal for Harry Anderson.
The twenty seven year old is well known to the U's management duo, having played for the Cowleys at both Braintree Town and Lincoln City.
And he's looking forward to working with them again, saying: "I always loved working under them and I can't wait to get some game time and minutes under my belt."
He was on loan with the Imps when they gained promotion from the National League in 2017, and then signed permanently just before they embarked on their first season back in the EFL.
In that first season back, Anderson was a regular as Lincoln made the League Two Play-Offs and won the EFL Trophy - reaching fifty appearances across the campaign.
He went one better in the 2018/19 season, making fifty one appearances as Lincoln finished as League Two Champions.
Over the following two campaigns, Harry remained a regular for the Imps in League One, before signing for Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2021.
Newly relegated Rovers bounced straight back into League One, with Anderson making forty nine appearances as the Pirates sneeked into the final automatic promotion spot on goal scored with a 7-0 win on the final day of the season.
Harry siad of his experience in League Two: "I've played in this league plenty of times - I know it inside out so hopefully I can add a bit to this team."
Thirty more games came for Harry in League One for Rovers last season, before a summer move to newly promoted Stevenage.
Harry comes into the U's for the remainder of the season, (subject to usual approvals), and will wear the number seventeen shirt.
