Colchester United's U23s take on Crewe Alexandra on Monday night.
Richard Hall and the young U's are at the JobServe Community Stadium for the first time this season, looking to bounce back after last week's defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.
With no first team match in midweek for the first time since early August, Hall has the luxury of a few of the youngsters that have been with John McGreal's squad recently.
The likes of Noah Chilvers, Ollie Kensdale, Kwame Poku and Andre Hasanally have all been involved with the senior squad, but haven't played much competitive football so far this season.
Defender Cohen Bramall will also see some match action, having been sidelined with an ankle injury.
The game kicks off at 7pm on Monday evening, and admission prices are as follows:-
