We recently welcomed over 50 girls aged 7-9 to Little Oakley Football Club, to take part in a mixture of themed games, as well as a mini 5-a-side tournament!
In partnership with Active Essex, and with the help of the brilliant young leaders from Tendering Technology College, we delivered the Barclays Disney Inspired Shooting Stars Toy Story games – the girls were even invited to dress up as their favourite Toy Story character, with the best outfit winning a trophy!
There was also a speed gun goal-shooting activity delivered by ProStrike, which allowed the girls (and teachers!) to measure how fast they could strike the ball.
After the girls had got to experience each of the Toy Story themed games in the morning, they competed in a 5-a-side tournament throughout the afternoon where they showed off their new skills.
All participating schools left with a bag of 6 new footballs, and each participant received a Disney themed certificate.
