Arthur Read was on press duties ahead of the U’s clash against Stockport County at the JobServe Community Stadium on Tuesday 9th April (KO 7:45pm).
The midfielder stressed that the disappointment and frustration taken away from Saturday’s game has to be used to motivate his side when they face league leaders Stockport.
He added: “We’re at a crucial part of the season now where we need to pick up points.
“I think we've shown all season that we can have long spells in games where we've dominated teams up there in the table, but we just need to capitalise on it more often and either score more or concede less.
“Over the last thirteen, fourteen games, we have been very competitive with every team we've played, but we need to start changing them points or losses into three points.”
Lastly, Arthur spoke about the incredible support his side received last Saturday, adding that having four out of the six remaining matches at home will make a huge difference.
“The support on Saturday was really impressive and four out of the six games are at home so that will help us a lot," he said.

Tickets will also be available to purchase from the self-service ticketing machines in the Club Shop on the day, although you will not be able to select your seat on these. No home game sales will be available from the Ticket Office Windows.
Tickets can be printed out or shown on a smartphone at the turnstiles, with gates opening at 6:30pm.
