Scott Jackson will officiate Colchester United’s clash against Barrow at the SO Legal Stadium on Saturday afternoon (KO 3pm).
He will be assisted by Conor Brown, Alex Gray, and John Mulligan.
Jackson began officiating in the National League during the 2019-20 campaign before properly moving up to League One and League Two this season.
In between, he was put in charge of one League Two game in the 2022-23 campaign when he oversaw Harrogate’s clash with AFC Wimbledon.
In his fairly short career, Jackson has already managed to officiate a match involving the U’s – a 3-2 loss in the FA Cup to Shrewsbury Town in November 2023 where he issued seven yellow cards.
So far this season, he’s taken charge of twenty-three games, giving out ninety-five yellows and just one red.
