David Rock will officiate Colchester United’s Sky Bet League Two clash against Walsall at the JobServe Community Stadium on Saturday 16th March (KO 3PM).
He will be assisted by Stephen Finch, Andrew Aylott and Scott Williams.
David Rock is an experienced referee who has nearly ten full seasons under his belt at National League level and above.
In that time, he’s overseen eight games involving the U’s, with Colchester coming out victorious six times, only succumbing to one defeat against Stockport County on 13th August 2022. The only draw was played out on 29th December 2020 when Cheltenham Town visited North Essex.
It was an absolute belter of a game the last time Rock blew his whistle at the JobServe Community Stadium with the U’s securing a tremendous 5-4 victory against Notts County on 30th September 2023. The official issued seven yellow cards and one red in that match.
So far this season, Rock has officiated thirty-one matches, giving out 116 yellows and eight reds.
