Colchester United U23s are in action on Monday afternoon, as they take on Cardiff City at the U's training ground.
The U's will cast their eye over three triallists in the latest U23s encounter but the match will also see the return to action of Doug Loft.
The midfielder has endured a frustrating season, having been sidelined for most of the campaign, but will get vital mintues under his belt when the U's take on the Bluebirds in a 1pm kick-off.
The U's will also give game time to Macauley Bonne, as they look to get back to winning ways after losing to Huddersfield in their last outing.
