Carl Brook will oversee Colchester United’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Grimsby Town on Tuesday 16th April at the JobServe Community Stadium (KO 7:45pm).
He will be assisted by Sam Ogles, Alan Cresswell, and Ryan Head.
It will be Brook’s thirty-fourth match this season, and his second at the JobServe Community Stadium having officiated the U’s 3-2 home defeat to MK Dons back in August. In his thirty-three games so far, he has handed out 141 yellow cards and two reds, an average of just over four yellows per match.
His last game was on 6th April, when he oversaw Bolton Wanderers’ 2-0 victory over Bristol Rovers in League One, issuing eight yellow cards and no reds in the ninety minutes.
The 2023/24 season is Brook’s fourth season as an EFL official, and it will be his ninth game in charge of Colchester United; his eight previous matches have yielded five wins and three defeats for the U’s.
